Swiftie School – a 10 week Immersive

4:30-5:30 Thursdays Term 3 (week 5-10) and term 4 (Weeks 1-5)

Theres a reason Tay Tay is such a force in Pop Culture and that’s because not only is she a brilliant songwriter- she also is a fantastic role model for young girls everywhere.

We have taken Taylors music and her philosophies to create a 10 week empowerment programme for girls and boys to learn life lessons according to the gospel that is Swift!

Here’s what you can expect:

Week 1- Enchanted to Meet You

This week the clan get to know each others stories because we believe a great class has its roots in friendship.

We discuss what makes a great friend and explore the qualities that go into making any connection meaningful and long lasting. The class task this week is friendship bracelets to share amongst their fellow swifties as well as filming a video introduction that we will make into a montage that will be posted to the Swiftie class app so that all classmates can learn a little about their classmates before the next time we meet!

Week 2- ME!

This week we ask…. What is so special about me? We ask our swifties to ask that question of themselves and of others close to them so they can build their “Toolbox of Tricks”….. a personally decorated box that holds a whole heap of positive traits about themselves they can keep at home and open to draw on when they need a reminder of just how great they are.

Week 3- Shake It Off

This week we chat resilience and how to cope when tough situations arise. What happenes when Im anxious? Upset? Unmotivated? We workshop strategies to deal with the feelings of doubt and fear that may come up when a person or situation challenges us.

We take our Swifties “out of their comfort zone” with a rigorous cheer routine (with pom poms of course) to Shake It Off.

Week 4- Bad Blood

How do we deal when people are unkind to us? Do we just accept it? What is a boundary and how do we put it in place?

How can we resolve conflict or make the decision to disengage? What things can we put in place to give ourselves a break from the drama? Theres lots to unpack this week!

This week we get super clear on our non negotiables on how we want to be treated- how we treat ourselves and how we would like others to treat us with our Boundary Bibles

Week 5- You Need To Calm Down

This week we look at nervous system regulation. Somatic exercises, mindfulness and mediation all help get us back to a calm state when we are flooded emotionally.

This week we explore beginner yoga and mediation that can be easily repeated at home and engage in some mindful mandala colouring pages.

Week 6- New Years Day

New Years Day is traditionally the time we set our goals for the new year but you can make ANY day new Years Day….. All you need to do is start!

This week we learn about the power in setting a Big Hairy Audacious Goal for yourself and learn how to break down a big idea into actionable steps.

We learn about planning and project management skills which can be used to reach a personal goal or even how to plan out a big assignment at school and not leave it to the night before.

Each swiftie gets a project goal template they can apply to numerous situations in their lives.

Week 7- Bejewelled

How to step out confident in your look every time. This week we get celebrity stylist Trish involved in creating a look for ourselves that defies fashion trends and what colours can do for our moods

Our very own jewel Annie will give tips on skin care and why Tik Tok makeup is NOT it and how to glow from the inside out.

Week 8- Champagne Problems

Sometimes we can get a little caught up in our worlds and todays lesson is all about gratitude for the life we have.

We look at the lives of children from around the world yesterday and today and compare that to our daily lives.

We talk about giving back, paying forward and how we can sit in gratitude for even the things that seem to go wrong. The lessons are there if we look hard enough.

Our activity this week is a champagne glass of gratitude to keep

Week 9- Lights Camera and Smile

This week the fabulous Megs Linton drops in to share her wisdom about what she calls the “perfection pandemic” and how filters and editing tools are skewing our view of beauty.

This is followed by a photo shoot with each of Taylors Eras as the backdrop where we encourage you to be authentically and beautifully you.

Week 10- Eras Par-tay and Grad Ceremony

We recap everything we have learned during our 10 week immersive for our parents and caregivers , share our favourite parts, and finish with a Taylor dance party to celebrate our time together.

All class participants are presented with a Swiftie School certificate and discount offers to Tribe classes in the future.

NB: Numbers are strictly capped for Term 3 so reserve your spot early to avoid disappointment.
