Swiftie School – a 10 week Immersive

4:30-5:30 Thursdays Term 4

Theres a reason Tay Tay is such a force in Pop Culture and that’s because not only is she a brilliant songwriter- she also is a fantastic role model for young girls everywhere.

We have taken Taylors music and her philosophies to create a 10 week empowerment programme for girls and boys to learn life lessons according to the gospel that is Swift!

Here’s what you can expect:

Week 1 - Enchanted to Meet You

This week the clan get to know each others stories because we believe a great class has its roots in friendship.

We discuss what makes a great friend and explore the qualities that go into making any connection meaningful and long lasting.

The class task this week is friendship bracelets to share amongst their fellow swifties as well as filming a video introduction that we will make into a montage that will be posted to the Swiftie class app so that all classmates can learn a little about their classmates before the next time we meet!

Week 2 - ME!

This week we ask…. What is so special about me? We ask our swifties to ask that question of themselves and of others close to them so they can build their “Toolbox of Tricks”….. a personally decorated box that holds a whole heap of positive traits about themselves they can keep at home and open to draw on when they need a reminder of just how great they are

.

Week 3 - Shake It Off

This week we chat resilience and how to cope when tough situations arise. What happenes when Im anxious? Upset? Unmotivated? We workshop strategies to deal with the feelings of doubt and fear that may come up when a person or situation challenges us.

We take our Swifties “out of their comfort zone” with a rigorous cheer routine (with pom poms of course) to Shake It Off.

Week 4 - Bad Blood

How do we deal when people are unkind to us? Do we just accept it? What is a boundary and how do we put it in place? How can we resolve conflict or make the decision to disengage? What things can we put in place to give ourselves a break from the drama? Theres lots to unpack this week!

This week we get super clear on our non negotiables on how we want to be treated- how we treat ourselves and how we would like others to treat us with our Boundary Bibles

Week 5 - You Need To Calm Down

This week we look at nervous system regulation. Somatic exercises, mindfulness and mediation all help get us back to a calm state when we are flooded emotionally.
